Bridging the worlds of sustainability, design, and literature, Jess Bugg is a lifelong artist. Holding degrees in both visual communication and sustainability studies - a BA from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an MA from the Rhode Island School of Design.

 

Bugg brings a uniquely interdisciplinary perspective to her work. In her 2024 book, Bugg delves into the timely subject of climate grief. By weaving together academic analysis, vivid personal essays and visual art, she offers readers a poignant and insightful exploration of this pressing issue.
